Kaytelynn

Ahhh my first born. She is such a crazy, sweet, smart, head strong, wonderful little girl.

She can:
Count to 10 on her own, when she feels like it
Recognize colors
Recognize her letters
Knows her animals and their sounds
She has a GREAT memory
Uses her manners all the time
has her listening ears on practically all the time

Kayte enjoys playing outside, even if it's freezing outside. When we drive by playground or parks she asks to play there. She really loves seeing "whoo whoo's" and asks Daddy to "follow that whoo whoo" or "catch that whoo whoo Daddy" It's adorable. She has her own sense of style, she picks out her own clothes and I usually let her wear her clothes she picked out.

Kayte is a great big sister, she is concerned about her sister when she is crying. She loves to play with her and Emma loves to follow her around. Kayte can make Emma laugh like no one else can. She also is great help  when it comes to cooking, cleaning, and our projects.

Kayte is also doing great with being potty trained at night. She hasn't had an accident at night for a while now. And has been doing great for day time. So proud of this little munchkin.

Kayte being silly inside of her mat house that she enjoyed. She thinks this picture of her hair is very funny. Her words.

Emma

Our poor Emma has been battling the same ear infection since December. We are now on our third round of antibiotics. Our first round was from an Urgent Care doctor, who didn't give a strong enough or long enough dose. Which is normal according to our new pediatrician. She said that Urgent care places tend to give smaller doses for less time than Pediatrician. Emma's 2nd round almost cleared up one ear, but didn't even touch the other one. So now we are on Omnicef and if Emma ever gets another ear infection Dr. Parent said we are going to just go with Omnicef right out of the gates. I am hoping that this round of medicine works for us. Because I am miserable, Emma is miserable. And with mama being miserable, the whole house suffers. Kayte is very concerned for her sister.

I'd have to say 70% of our day is spent with a screaming monster because she is completely miserable. And the other 30% sleeping or nursing.

I snapped this during one of the times we had a slightly happy girl. In a laundry basket with a cool cloth on her head.

December Escapades

More to come.....

A look into the past

But not too far back into the past. Just back to December of 2011. Last month or the end of last year was a very busy one for us. We moved at the beginning of the month, then about 2 weeks later, Alex and Alyssa came up to visit for a week or so. And we took a trip over to Cincinnati.

It was really great to see Alex and Alyssa. Alex got back from Iraq shortly after Thanksgiving and got leave in December. We hadn't seen him since January. The girls really enjoyed seeing their Uncle and Aunt. We were very impressed with how Kayte came around to him so quickly. She really enjoyed playing with them, whether it was here at home or at Nana and Pahba's house.

During our visit in Cincinnati we had a good time. We went to the Zoo & rode the short zoo train, played paintball, drove the go-kart around, and went to an indoor playground place. We got to see family that we haven't seen in just over a year. We also had a family picture taken with everyone. Kayte really enjoyed playing with her cousin Lexi. Those two were inseparable once they decided that they were friends.

I was going to add some pictures to this post, but I decided to make another whole post with just picture from our December escapades.

Hello 2012

Wow, 2011 is gone. There is a lot of crazy things that happened in 2011.

We had added a new sweet baby girl to our family, bought a new truck, sold a house, bought a house, potty trained a toddler, celebrated some birthdays.

Here is 2012. This year I have a few goals I want to achieve both business and personally.
Personally, I want to make my goal weight. I want to be fit, healthy and feel great about myself.
Business wise,  I want to build my team. I want to make Diamond and get my first $7,000 check for the month.
