too long!

WOW! April is almost over and I have barely updated the blog!! Things are crazy but good around here!

Emma is almost walking completely unassisted! She will take a few steps on her own, when she chooses too! She will definitely cruise around when holding someones hand or onto things. And she turns 1 next month! I need to really get on top of her party planning!

Kayte is growing so fast and getting so smart. Now she is getting to the point that she picks up on lyrics to songs and can sing along to some songs, it's pretty fun! Kayte really enjoys cooking and baking too. She loves doing school too!

My It Works! business is going well!! I am so excited to see how much my business has taken off! It really is a fun job as well. Kayte tells me that I make "big money" Once I beat Joe's FD check each month that will be the   "Big Money" haha! I can't wait to do that for so many reasons.

I will be posting more pictures and videos soon so keep looking out!!

Life is good and we are thoroughly enjoying ourselves!

Egg Hunt

Easter Sunday we spent in Noblesville. We had dinner and had an egg hunt. It was fun and both girls found eggs. This year Joe made a map and marked where all the eggs were hidden. Despite having the map, we still hadn't found one before we ate. After dinner we all went out and looked and knew the general area in which the egg was left. After a bit, mom found it in the bushes.
Kayte helped hide them. She only remembered where she put a few and was very excited when she did find some. Emma found 3 eggs herself!!

Just the beginning of what Kayte found.

Growing a Garden

We have a garden! A raised bed garden. It wasn't on Joe's to do list, but he built it real quick for me in a day. My mom came down and helped me arrange how I wanted to plant and actually put the plants in.
We are growing tomatoes, green beans, carrots, lettuce, cucumbers, red onion, and white onions in the garden bed. We also still have red and white potatoes to grow, strawberries, blueberries, an green grapes to put it.

The garden bed all put together

We got our "special" soil put it!

All the plants put in

Another one of our plants

All covered up and ready for the potential frost the
night we planted our seeds

I am excited. This is my very first experience actually trying to grow a vegetable.. let alone a whole garden. I am excited. And I can't wait to see what we are able to harvest.
