Snow Storm 2012

This year was our biggest snow in a LONG time. The blizzard happened after Christmas!  We have about a foot of snow on the ground right now. The girls are loving the snow. We have built a snow man, an igloo and have gone sledding MANY MANY times. It has been a blast. And this is the first year we are actually enjoying having snow.

I will have to add more pictures, but we tend to update Facebook more often than here. I am going to try harder next year! I find blogging so much fun, I am sad I let it get away from me.

We had to shovel our way out of the back door and we had fun all working together to shovel off the driveway!

Totally Skipped October

Boy have I been slacking in the blogging department. The blog was usually more updated and had more pictures and happenings than facebook. But Now with our awesome new iPhones... facebook is easier. Hmmm, I wonder if there is an App for Blogger? Off to do research on that, well, probably after I finish this blog post. Hmm I think I am going to finish this blog from one of my "i" devices so I can get the most updated pictures and videos on here!

I am rambling, but I guess that is what happens when you don't feel good and you have a lot to catch up on!

So October was kind of busy for everyone. I had several events/parties for my It Works business. We traveled quite a bit, especially for It Works. We went to the pumpkin patch, had a birthday party, visited with great grandparents who were in town. And we passed out it works coupons to trick or treaters.

Kinda picture heavy but I wanted go give updated pictures and show some of our captured moments.

Oh and there is a Blogger app that I am current blogging with. It's cool!

A Trip to the Salon....

Kayte had her very first hair cut this past Friday. She did such a great job. Nothing major, just a trim and added some layers to her hair. She sat very well. And even got two french braids afterwards.

Even Emmalee got her hair done!! She didn't get it cut, but she did get a pretty little pony.

Not only did Kayte get her hair done she got to do Aunt Courtney's hair and Emmas' hair.

And no, we didn't keep the hair, that would have been a mess. to put in the scrapbook. Kayte thought it was great to get her hair cut like mommy. She was a little nervous at first because she thought it might hurt. In the end she did fabulous!

It Works! Business

My business is going really well. I haven't sky rocketed to the top like some people I see in the business. But for me, in all my ventures I have done, this is going amazing. I plan on taking this business all the way. It Works is going to allow me to "retire" Joe from working because he "has" too. We will be completely debt free, no car loans, no house loans. Completely free and clear. One day we will own some land and build a beautiful dream home we have always wanted.

Not only do I plan on this being what provides for us, but this is going to allow us to enjoy life. We will not work life away. There are so many things I want for the girls and the rest of our future family. I want to leave a LEGACY.

One thing I do love about this business is sharing the amazing products and changing people's lives. Getting them healthier and wealthier. All I do is share what I have with people, even the skeptics, and viola they have a LOVE for It Works too!

I can't wait to reach the goals I have for myself. Success will be so sweet! My It Works Journey hasn't been the smoothest road, but it's taught me a lot. And makes me want success even more and make it that much better.

6 years

6 years ago on July 28th Joe and I got married on the beach in Folly Beach South Carolina. And just this past year, we went back for the first time. We took the kids with us and even went back to the same beach house we got married at.

On our actual anniversary this year we took a mini trip, the whole family. Well it was more of a business trip for me because we were going to Evansville for an It Works! Bootcamp. I spent the day in training with some Top Leaders in my company. Joe and the girls spent the day together at the zoo, DQ, and playgrounds.

this is one of my most favorites! I just love Joe's look.

these two (above and below) were just a couple of fun ones at the fire house. It was HOT but fun

Here a couple pictures we had Joe's dad take for us. It's been forever since we had our pictures taken, just us. It was nice. Now all I need to do is to print and frame some!

I can't believe in our 6 years of marriage we have bought 2 houses, 6 cars, several different jobs between the two of us, had 3 dogs, and now have 2 beautiful children. What a journey. I really love my husband and I wouldn't have him any other way than who he is (even if I can't tell he is joking sometimes)

I love you Joseph Wesley!!! ♥ ♥

3 year well child visit

Since her 3 year post was getting a tad on the long I decided to do a second blog with her most recent stats.

At her well child visit Kayte was amazing! When we got there she was all ready for the doctor. We got hung up at the receptionist because they had a new system and Kayte hadn't been there since the update back in June. She kept asking where Dr. Parent was and if she is was ready for us. When we got called back, she stood on the scale and got her height taken like like a big kid! She also got her temperature taken, a pulse, and blood pressure by the nurse. She did a great job. She was even talking a little to the nurse. When the doctor came in she talked to her as well. The doctor checked her heart, lungs, eyes, and inside her mouth and Kayte did amazing through all that too..

Kayte is 3'4" and weighs 32 lbs. All her other stats are great too. She is tall and skinny. I forget the percentiles she is in right now, I will have to find the paper they are on.

3 years old!

Wow, where has time gone. I really still am in awe that Kaytelynn is 3 years old! Time sure does have a way of sneaking up on you. It's mind boggling sometimes. Kayte's birthday party was actually a week before her actual birthday. We had fun and it was a fire truck themed party! (surprise! surprise!)  It was fun! Joe and I decorated the night before so when she woke up we could jump into the rest of the party stuff and less stress on the day of the party! She thought it was so great. Joe filled up 70+ balloons... I mean really, who doesn't love to play with balloons.

These are just from her party we had!  And on her actual birthday we did so much more! We woke up, made some pancakes, let her open a couple presents, went to the zoo, grabbed some lunch on our way home, came home ate lunch, opened a few more presents and had some naps. After nap we went to our neighborhood playground for a bit and then went out to dinner at the Incredible Pizza Company, came home opened the last few presents and played a bit longer and then went to bed. It was a busy but super fun day!! I am still cannot believe she is 3!

For her presents she got: a necklace, a camera, some couple movies, some Curious George books, a some new clothes and PJ's. and  TOOLS!! She loves her tools and now can help Daddy without stealing his tools.

We all had a great day and were all ready for bed at the end of the day!
